thats me over there
hiding behind
that big oak tree
because I'm embarrassed
thats me there running
from whats
really part of me
thats me too,I'm looking
for me on the wrong side of the street
thats me again
I'm laughing because
I grasped how a fool
I was to
be embarrassed of what
I really am
this is me now full
of pride and dignity
and hope i made it home
